Fictional currencies

Fictional currencies can buy imaginary property, digital items, cosmetic content, or access within a system controlled by a company or a game's rules.

Cartonindex does not claim that these units are foreign currencies. It uses them as recognizable references for visualizing the relative value of real currencies.

Available references

Monopoly money

The classic game includes a bank with a documented nominal amount of money. Cartonindex relates that amount to the price of a specific product edition.

Robux

Robux are used within Roblox services to access virtual content. Their purchase price depends on the package, region, platform, and current terms.

V-Bucks

V-Bucks are the virtual currency used in Fortnite for certain content. Packages and availability can vary by platform and region.

How Cartonindex sets a reference

Monopoly money and virtual currencies need different inputs. For Monopoly, the calculation uses the documented banknote total and the price of one specific product edition. For Robux and V-Bucks, it uses one defined package and records its units, price, currency, region, platform, and observation date.

These details let another reader repeat the calculation. They do not create a resale price or guarantee that the units can be converted back into real money.
